Birdseeds Mixed In Light Trade
PANAMA - Mar 8/24 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient makets finished the week's trading on a slightly mixed tone.
White proso millet seed markets in the United States continued their easy tone, with average bids to growers declining in both Nebraska and Colorado resulting in a slight drop in nominal offers in inter-dealer markets.
Canadian canaryseed was unchanged on the week in both grower and inter-dealer markets. Interestingly, prices offered growers are now at their lowest level since the start of the marketing year, though still above last July's prevailing bids.
