China's Sunflower Seed Imports Maintain Firm Performance
PANAMA - Jan 29/24 - SNS -- Imports of sunflower seeds by China posted major improvement, leaping compared to the previous month in November, recent data from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available shows.
Imports totalled 32,781 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 97% from the 16,635 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 256,841 MT, compared to 171,307 in the same period the last calendar year.
Kazakhstan was the most important supplier during the month, supplying 17,116 MT. Bulgaria was the second most important export origin shipping 14,053 MT, followed by Russia at 1,612 MT.
