Chickpea Exports From Australia Extend Soft Trend
PANAMA - Jan 11/24 - SNS -- Australia's exports of chickpeas during November fell compared to the previous month, according to data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Total movement in the month amounted to 38,139 metric tons (MT), down 53% from the previous month's total of 80,426. So far export sales have amounted to 38,139 MT, down from 57,462 in the same period the previous marketing year.
United Arab Emirates was the top buyer, buying 13,768 MT. Bangladesh was the second most important consumer buying 7,587 MT, followed by Nepal at 4,735 MT.
