Birdseeds Seasonally Quiet
PANAMA - Jan 5/24 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished the week somewhat mixed, with canaryseed and millet unchanged while sunflower lost value in some shipping positions.
Markets remain seasonally quiet, with offers from growers remaining well balanced with the short term needs of processors and exporters.
Markets are interested to see the final production estimates from the USDA. To be released on January 12, the report will include updated estimates for sunflower, millet, and safflower output in the United States.
