Mixed Finish In Chickpeas
PANAMA - Oct 20/23 - SNS -- Chickpea markets remained mixed in limited trading activity during the week, wth harvest selling interest emerging in Australia and other origins and destinaions remaining relatively quiet.
This saw further easing in desi chickpea alues in Australia, with markets there also affected by lackluster demand from Pakistan and Bangladesh.
North American markets remain keen to see the final production estimates for 2023, with Canada's survey based report due in December and the USDA final in January.
