Confection Sunflower Imports By Spain Post Slow Month
PANAMA - Oct 14/22 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers for Spain were little changed, dropping versus the previous month in August, official data from Eurostat reports.
Imports for the month totalled 17,687 metric tons (MT), down from 19,375 MT the previous month. This increased imports so far during the calendar year to 258,630, up 36% last year.
The most important exporter during the month was Bulgaria, supplying 11,227 MT. France was the second most important supplier supplying 2,789 MT, followed by China at 2,262 MT.
