Confection Sunflower Imports By Germany Post Soft Month
PANAMA - Oct 14/22 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers for Germany sank compared to the previous month in August, official trade data from Eurostat reveals.
Imports totalled 2,150 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 83% from the 12,293 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 132,447 MT, compared to 130,496 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The most important exporter for the month was Moldova, shipping 768 MT. China was the second most important exporter selling 571 MT, followed by Argentina at 513 MT.
