Bulgaria's Confection Sunflower Exports Reveal Soft Month
PANAMA - Oct 14/22 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year revealed a weaker performance, with confection sunflower movement for Bulgaria fell sharply relative to the previous month in August, according to the most recent statistics from Eurostat.
Shipments reached 6,581 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 76% from the 27,905 MT exported the previous month. Export sales so far total 240,461 MT, versus 234,165 in the same period the last calendar year.
The most important buyer during the month was United States, buying 1,508 MT. Canada was the second most important buyer receiving 1,306 MT, followed by China at 1,200 MT.
