VANCOUVER - Sep 19/22 - STAT -- American Large Confection Sunflower markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices offered to growers soaring 21% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Large Confection Sunflower was USD$39.58 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $32.74 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $44.80 per cwt in June, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $36.00 per cwt in November.
