Bulgaria's Oil-type Sunflower Imports Sustain Strong Trend
PANAMA - Aug 18/22 - SNS -- Imports of oil-type sunflowers by Bulgaria were up significantly, rising versus the previous month in June, recent data from Eurostat reports.
Imports totalled 211,377 metric tons (MT) for the month, up 47% from the 143,583 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 527,397 MT, versus 69,130 during the last calendar year.
The most important shipper for the month was Ukraine, supplying 193,254 MT. Moldova was the second most important exporter supplying 17,992 MT, followed by Turkey at 110 MT.
