Confection Sunflower Imports By Spain Reveal Easy Month
PANAMA - Aug 18/22 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers by Spain fell compared to the previous month in June, data from Eurostat reports.
Total imports in the month amounted to 36,440 metric tons (MT), down 40% from the previous month's total of 60,285. So far imports have reached 221,563 MT, up from 168,710 during the last calendar year.
France was the biggest supplier, shipping 22,292 MT. Bulgaria was the second most important export origin selling 10,160 MT, followed by China at 2,967 MT.
