Bulgaria's Confection Sunflower Exports Reveal Weak Month
PANAMA - Aug 18/22 - SNS -- At this point in this calendar year posted a weaker performance, with confection sunflower exports from Bulgaria posted massive declines, sinking relative to the previous month in June, according to recent data from Eurostat.
Movement for the month reached 9,308 metric tons (MT), down from 29,993 MT the previous month. This increased exports so far during the calendar year to 182,726, up 4% last year.
United States was the biggest consumer for the month, taking 3,841 MT. Canada was the second most important importer taking 2,233 MT, followed by China at 975 MT.
