Oil-type Sunflower Exports From Romania Post Slow Performance
PANAMA - Aug 18/22 - SNS -- So far during the current calendar year recorded a weaker performance, with oil-type sunflower movement from Romania sank compared to the previous month in June, judging from the latest data from Eurostat.
Movement reached 8,358 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 72% from the 29,391 MT shipped the previous month. Export sales so far total 482,447 MT, compared to 305,841 in the same period the previous calendar year.
Turkey was the most important destination, receiving 8,336 MT. Moldova was the second most important buyer receiving 22 MT, followed by at 0 MT.
