Germany's Confection Sunflower Imports Maintain Weak Tone
PANAMA - Aug 18/22 - SNS -- Germany's imports of confection sunflowers in June plunged versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 1,183 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 93% from the 16,566 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 100,711 MT, compared to 100,672 during the previous calendar year.
The most recent trade statistics showed Moldova was biggest exporter, supplying 585 MT. China was the second most important exporter shipping 347 MT, followed by Argentina at 143 MT.
