No 1 B-90 Type Chickpea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/22 - STAT -- Canadian No 1 B-90 Type Chickpea markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices offered to growers rocketing 25% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for No 1 B-90 Type Chickpea was CDN$743.20 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $592.99 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $881.80 per MT in November, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $520.88 per MT in February.
