Oriental Mustard Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/22 - STAT -- Canadian Oriental Mustard markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices offered to growers rocketing 80% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Oriental Mustard was CDN$87.86 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $48.69 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $119.00 per cwt in March, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $39.10 per cwt in August.
