Mustard Remains Mixed
PANAMA - Mar 8/24 - SNS -- North American mustard seed markets posted a mixed performance during the past week with available supplies from farmers remain ing slightly ahead of the immediate needs of processors and exporters.
Short covering has been evident from time to time in recent weeks. That has been reflected in temporary escalations in prices offered farmers, especially for oriental.
Prices offered farmers remain sharply lower than those in place at the start of the marketing year. ven so, they remain at the upper end of their historic prices range.
