Mustard Mulls Rebound In Output
PANAMA - Jul 8/22 - SNS -- Mustard seed markets were nominally unchanged in spot shipping positions, though there remains underlying weakness as attention shifts toward new crop.
Canada's seeded area was pegged at 554,700 acres, up sharply from last year's 308,200 and well above the recent five year average of 377,120 acres sown.
Average yields would see production rebound to 185,000 metric tons (MT), more than triple last year's harvest and 18,000 MT above the recent average.
