Spot, New Crop Mustard Spreads Narrow

PANAMA - May 27/22 - SNS -- North American mustard seed markets maintained their easier tone in spot markets, with spreads between old and new crop values narrowing.

End users are no longer active participants for nearby shipping positions, with the result grower bids are more strongly influenced by their attitude toward selling relative to the immediate needs of processors and exporters.

Seeding appears to be making relatively good progress, with some processors reporting keen interest in planing the crop because of unusually high spot an new crop prices offered farmers.
