Easier Undertone In Chickpeas
PANAMA - Feb 11/22 - SNS -- Chickpea markets finished the week with an easier undertone as the number of exporters looking for opportunities to sell increases.
Values were largely unchanged on the week, but shippers in some origins are growing anxious about their ability to find a price point which works for both end users and growers.
It is important to note that Russia appears to be helping set price expectations in markets such as Pakistan and Turkey, limiting opportunities for exporters in Australia and other origins.
