Modest Softening In Birdseeds
PANAMA - Jan 21/22 - SNS -- Markets for North American birdseed ingredients continued to soften through the past week as offers from growers moved past the short term needs of processors and exporters.
Canaryseed posted moderate declines on the week in grower and inter dealer markets, while price spreads for white proso millet seed widening considerably.
Both reflect easing near term demand from both North American domestic packagers and export destinations.
