Firmish Tone In Chickpeas
PANAMA - Nov 12/21 - SNS -- International chickpea markets were somewhat firmer during the past week.
Markets are paying attention to the fact farmers in India appear to be emphasizing oilseeds over pulses when making rabi season seedings decisions.
Unless current trends change, land in chickpeas will be down over last year, which could create additional demand for small caliber kabuli and desi chickpeas.
