Chickpeas Confounded By Australia
PANAMA - Nov 8/21 - SNS -- Global chickpea markets were mixed during the past week, with kabulis holding their values while desi eased because of harvest activity in Australia.
That country's exports continued their strong pace in September, with more product being shipped from Australia than is possible given official production estimates.
Since 2001, exports exceeded the official production estimates by almost 197,300 metric tons (MT) and since 2010 by 408,300.
