No 2 B-90 Type Chickpea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/21 - STAT -- Canadian No 2 B-90 Type Chickpea markets finished the 2020-21 marketing year with prices offered to growers leaping 9% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for No 2 B-90 Type Chickpea was CDN$516.58 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $473.43 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $650.40 per MT in May, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $410.04 per MT in August.
