China's Sunflower Seed Exports Start With Firm Tone
PANAMA - Jul 26/21 - SNS -- So far during this calendar year on their a stronger tendency, with sunflower seed exports from China posted decent increases, moving relative to the previous month in March, judging from the latest statistics from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available.
Total movement for the month amounted to 40,075 metric tons (MT), up 9% from the previous month's total of 36,780. So far export sales have totalled 142,171 MT, up from 71,374 during the last calendar year.
The most recent trade statistics showed Turkey was number one buyer, buying 9,481 MT. Iraq was the second most important destination receiving 4,181 MT, followed by Iran at 3,448 MT.
