Russia's Sunflower Seed Exports Maintain Soft Trend
PANAMA - Jul 26/21 - SNS -- At this point in this calendar year added to a weaker trend, with sunflower seed shipments for Russia fell compared to the previous month in May, judging from statistics from Federal Customs Service of Russia.
Total exports during the month reached 1,826 metric tons (MT), down 41% from the previous month's total of 3,081. So far export sales have reached 21,455 MT, down from 832,658 during the previous calendar year.
China was the top destination during the month, taking 764 MT. Belarus was the second most important importer taking 632 MT, followed by Armenia at 212 MT.
