China's Sunflower Seed Exports Continue Easy Tone
PANAMA - Aug 13/20 - SNS -- At this point in this calendar year continued a easier trend, with sunflower seed shipments for China were well down, plunging compared to the previous month in June, according to recent statistics from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available.
Exports reached 30,812 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 45% from the 56,325 MT exported the previous month. Exports so far total 216,756 MT, versus 297,141 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The most recent movement statistics reported Turkey was most important consumer, taking 7,690 MT. Spain was the second most important importer buying 3,924 MT, followed by Iraq at 2,538 MT.
