Bulgaria's Confection Sunflower Exports Post Easy Month
PANAMA - Jul 17/20 - SNS -- Bulgaria's exports of confection sunflowers during May posted massive declines, sinking versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Exports reached 12,586 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 71% from the 43,307 MT exported the previous month. Movement so far total 170,971 MT, compared to 156,005 during the last calendar year.
Current trade data showed United States was largest destination, taking 5,600 MT during the month. China was the second most important importer receiving 3,457 MT, followed by Lebanon at 457 MT.
