Sunflower Seed Imports By Turkey Maintain Solid Tone
PANAMA - Jul 14/20 - SNS -- So far during this calendar year are keeping up their stronger performance, with sunflower seed imports by Turkey jumped compared to the previous month in May, according to the most recent data from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).
Imports for the month totalled 175,211 metric tons (MT), up from 117,023 MT the previous month. This increased imports so far during the calendar year to 743,106, up 8% last year.
The latest movement data reported Russia was number one export origin, supplying 42,235 MT. Bulgaria was the second most important exporter shipping 35,398 MT, followed by Other at 27,446 MT.
