China's Sunflower Seed Exports Continue Easy Tendency
PANAMA - Jul 14/20 - SNS -- Export shipments of sunflower seeds from China were somewhat lower, inching down compared to the previous month in May, the most recent data from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available reports.
Total exports throughout the month amounted to 56,325 metric tons (MT), down 3% from the previous month's total of 58,244. So far movement has amounted to 185,944 MT, down from 268,574 in the same period the last calendar year.
Turkey was the largest consumer, receiving 16,206 MT. Iraq was the second most important buyer taking 11,117 MT, followed by Iran at 5,566 MT.
