Birdseeds Maintain Firm Tone
PANAMA - Jul 10/20 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets maintained their firm tone in spot markets, with some packagers fill in supply gaps in front of this year's harvests.
This was most evident in sunflower, with competition between birdseed and crush markets for remaining old crop stocks helping prices hold firm.
Canadian canaryseed and white proso millet markets in the United States were steady on the week, with available supplies from growers remaining more in less in line with the short term needs of processors and exporters.
