Mustard Seed Steady on Week

PANAMA - Jun 19/20 - SNS -- Mustard seed markets remained relatively quiet during the past week, with the result market values were mostly unchanged.

Forecasters expect the coming week to be dry and sunny, with temperatures over much of the growing area expected to start the week in the mid 20s Celsius and rising to high 20s Celsius by the middle of the coming week.

Soil moisture conditions remain good throughout much of the region, with Saskatchewan's provincial agriculture department reporting that as of June 15, there was excess moisture on 2% of the province's cropland, while 70% had adequate moisture, 25% was short and 3% very short.
