Netherlands's Oil-type Sunflower Imports Open On Soft Tone
PANAMA - Mar 20/20 - SNS -- Netherlands's imports of oil-type sunflowers during January plunged compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Imports for the first month of the calendar year totalled 801 metric tons (MT), down 99% from 62,372 MT the previous month. The data showed imports is down 99% from the 124,381 MT recorded for the same month last year.
Ukraine was the number one export origin, supplying 708 MT. Egypt was the second most important origin shipping 50 MT, followed by China at 24 MT.
