Some Easing in Chickpeas

PANAMA - Oct 19/18 - SNS -- Chickpea markets finished the week's trading unchanged to easier as supplies available from growers pushed ahead of the short term needs of North American processors and exporters.

This was reflected in prices offered to growers for 9mm kabuli type chickpeas in the U.S. Pacific Northwest declining.

They have fallen 21% since the middle of August, compared to a 13% drop over the same time frame for in prices offered Canadian growers.
