VANCOUVER - Aug 1/17 - STAT -- Canadian 10mm Kabuli Chickpeas markets finished the 2016-17 marketing year with prices rocketing 35% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $86.00 per cwt in July, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $67.00 per cwt in March.
During the latest three year period, the highest monthly average trading level was $65.25 per cwt in July, compared to the lowest monthly average of $48.92 per cwt in September.
