Lateness of Some Lentils Worrisome
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/14 - SNS -- North American lentil markets were little changed during the past week, with market participants continuing to assess the yield potential of this year's crops.
A crop tour organized by the Canadian Wheat Board confirmed that crops are in wildly different stages of development in Saskatchewan.
Crops in the eastern part of the province are showing signs of water stress. This was especially true of peas and lentils in the Weyburn area.
