Few Changes in Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Jul 4/14 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient finished the week's trading little changed, but with underlying weakness on account of lower grain and oilseed values.
White proso millet markets were helped by news that area had plunged from 720,000 to 470,000 acres. Even so, total area in the crop remains at a relatively high level.
Canadian canaryseed markets finished the week on a defensive note because of worries unusually cool and wet weather in parts of Saskatchewan could become a problem.
