VANCOUVER - Nov 30/12 - SNS -- International chickpea markets maintained their firm tone in light trade during the past week.
Market bears were not helped by rabi or winter seeding progress reports from India.
Though there is no reason to conclude total pulse area will be below normal, seeding progress during the past week was unexpectedly slow.
