VANCOUVER - Sep 3/12 - STAT -- United States Pacific Northwest 9mm Chickpeas markets finished the 2011-12 marketing year with prices offered to growers soaring 21% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Pacific Northwest 9mm Chickpeas was USD$45.00 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $37.17 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $50.00 per cwt in November, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $40.80 per cwt in April.
