Chickpeas Maintain Get Mixed

VANCOUVER - Nov 5/11 - SNS -- International chickpea markets finished the week on a mixed note, with a growing number of market participants believing markets have lost their bullish lustre.

New crop product will soon be available from southern hemisphere exporters and this is making it easier for end users to reject offers from North American suppliers.

Markets are also starting to look toward the potential size of this year's kabuli chickpea harvest in India, not that rabi or winter season planting is underway in the country.
