Chickpea Exports From Russia Record A Improved Performance
PANAMA - Jun 2/21 - SNS -- Russia's exports of chickpeas in March jumped versus the previous month, judging from data from Federal Customs Service of Russia.
Total export sales for the month reached 23,310 metric tons (MT), up 27% from the previous month's total of 18,378. So far export sales have totalled 46,261 MT, down from 78,088 in the same period the last calendar year.
Current trade data reported Pakistan was top buyer, buying 15,535 MT for the month. Turkey was the second most important buyer buying 4,104 MT, followed by Jordan at 2,302 MT.
