Chickpeas Maintain Firm Tone
PANAMA - May 21/21 - SNS -- International chickpea markets maintained their firm tone through the past week in the face if supply concerned from key exporting origins such as India and Mexico.
This continues to support values for large caliber kabuli chickpeas, helping lift values for smaller caliber product.
Quality has become a more important consideration in markets, with processors and exporters avoiding purchases of lower quality merchandise grown in prior years.
