Potential For Bigger Mustard Crop
PANAMA - Oct 7/16 - SNS --Unofficial production estimates continue to hold out the prospect that there will be a significant increase from August in Statistics Canada's final crop report in December.
Statistics Canada estimated the crop at 233,900 metric ton (MT), but yield estimates from the provinces suggest output could be closer to 280,000 MT.
Growers and processors like the official estimate better than the unofficial numbers because Canada seems to be rebuilding stocks.
