Kabuli Chickpeas Remain Strong
PANAMA - Mar 12/16 - SNS -- Kabuli chickpea markets maintained their bullish tone through the past week, helped by continued talk of adverse weather events in Mexico.
Processors in that country have been reporting increasingly bullish production estimates. Those reports have been bolstered by short covering with product from other origins.
Though greeted with enthusiasm by exporters in other countries, some consumers suspect the reality is not as bad as currently suggested.
