Quiet Week For Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Dec 12/14 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets finished a relatively quiet week unchanged to firmer in sympathy with oilseed markets.
Oil-type sunflower finished the week on a firmer note. On the other hand, current crop confection sunflower markets were unchanged on the week.
New crop grower bids have started to be posted, with larges discounted five cents per pound to spot and smalls discounted seven cents, with growers being offered 18 cents per pound.
