Few Changes in Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Nov 15/14 - SNS -- International birdseed ingredient markets were little changed during the past week against relatively light trading interest.
White proso millet seed markets in the United States were unchanged on the week, reflecting balance between grower sales and demands from birdseed packagers.
Canadian canaryseed was unchanged in grower markets after advancing the previous week. Weakness in the Canadian dollar has allowed exporters and processors to hold asking prices, with the result growers are benefiting the most from the currency changes during recent weeks.
