No 2 B-90 Type Chickpea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/14 - STAT -- Canadian No 2 B-90 Type Chickpea markets finished the 2013-14 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 20% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for No 2 B-90 Type Chickpea was CDN$417.27 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $522.35 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $518.08 per MT in August, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $352.70 per MT in February.
