Below Average Seeding Progress in India
VANCOUVER - Jun 21/14 - SNS -- International field pea markets found some support in the fact India's farmers made below average progress seeding crops during the past week.
Land in pulses rose just 18,000 hectares to an estimated 260,000 in the ground as of June 20.
During the previous five years, farmers planted an average of 118,000 hectares of pulses during the same week, lifting total area to an average 285,000.
