VANCOUVER - Sep 5/13 - STAT -- United States Pacific Northwest 9mm Chickpeas markets finished the 2012-13 marketing year with prices offered to growers inching % above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Pacific Northwest 9mm Chickpeas was USD$40.62 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $40.59 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $42.50 per cwt in October, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $38.00 per cwt in August.
