Mixed Week in Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Oct 19/13 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading on a mixed note against relatively light demand from packagers and mixers.
White proso millet markets in the United States advanced 75 cents per 100 pounds (cwt) on the week on both grower and inter-dealer markets.
Oil-type sunflower, by contrast, was easier even though canola and soybeans posted week over week gains. Confectionary sunflower markets were mostly unchanged.
